How to submit
Submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Educational Psychology and Social Wellbeing (JEPSoW) is a straightforward process designed to ensure an efficient and transparent review. Please follow the steps below to submit your work for consideration.
1. Create an Account
To begin the submission process, authors must first create an account on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Visit our journal's submission page and click on the "Register" button to set up your account. During registration, you will be asked to provide basic details, such as your name, email address, and affiliation.
2. Prepare Your Manuscript
Before submitting, ensure that your manuscript is prepared according to the Author Guidelines. This includes formatting your document, preparing the abstract, keywords, and references, and ensuring compliance with the journal’s style and structure.
3. Submit the Manuscript
Once your manuscript is ready, log in to your OJS account and go to the "Author" section. Follow the prompts to upload your manuscript and associated documents. The platform will guide you through the submission process, where you will be asked to:
-
Upload the manuscript file (in Word format)
-
Provide metadata (title, abstract, keywords, etc.)
-
Add details for all authors and their affiliations
-
Upload any supplementary files (if applicable)
4. Submit the Cover Letter
Along with the manuscript, a cover letter must be submitted. The cover letter should briefly describe the manuscript’s contribution to the field, its relevance to JEPSoW’s scope, and the reasons why it would be a good fit for the journal. Please also disclose any conflicts of interest or financial support in this letter.
5. Confirm Submission
Once all required information and files have been uploaded, you will be asked to review the submission. Ensure that all details are correct before submitting. After confirming, click on the "Submit" button to finalize the process.
6. Confirmation of Submission
After submission, you will receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your manuscript. You can track the status of your submission through your OJS account.
7. Peer Review Process
Once your manuscript is submitted, it will undergo a double-blind peer review. Reviewers will assess your manuscript based on the quality, relevance, and originality of the research. You will be notified of the reviewers’ feedback, and if revisions are requested, you will be given a set time to resubmit.
8. Final Acceptance and Publication
After the peer review and revision process, if your manuscript is accepted, you will receive a final acceptance email, and your article will be scheduled for publication in the next available issue of JEPSoW.
